End of season bad defeat.

Got to say that whilst it was a top weekend away the result we suffered was very dissapointing. A great start to the weekend with the Ladies B winning 4-2 which gave them runners up spot after Yorkshire won 5-1 thus giving them the title. But WELL DONE to all the Ladies that have gave their efforts in that B side. Mens B have had a mixed finale taking two 8-4 defeats which after the start we had and some other games didnt do us the justice. Too many missed doubles after being in control was the order of the day, but still we have shown we are a strength again which is great for the future. Again a big WELL DONE to all the Men that have played B darts this season. More to come next season of that we are sure. On to the Ladies A and when we consider some 10 years agao when we had probably the best A side in the whole BICC set up its is very frustrating to see where we are now. But we soldier on and look for that winning formula once again. A poor 6-0 defeat was inflicted on us over the weekend where we truly got what we deserved but know in our own hearts we are a lot better than that. Can I say a big WELL DONE to all the Ladies that have played A darts this year. We will get better again. Mens A is an enigma at times and we all sat frustrated that we couldnt get the result to get the scores closer on the Sunday. But again one of the most settled seasons we have had and with many opposing managers stating that we are on of the strongest A sides in the Premier Division. Possibility of having two England Internationals next season but we await that to be given the green light. But again a big WELL DONE to all the lads who have played A darts this season and a solid 3rd position in front of some of the Counties that have a bigger field to select from shows that there is something right at the County.
We now look forward to next season where we can consolidate our position amongst the elite and possibly finish in a higher overall position. Anyway can we as officials thank all that have played, officiated and helped the Bears to one of the highest positions that achieved in their existence.
