A 3 3 draw for the Ladies B with Denise Keyte, Helen Rigg and LOM Marian Conway sealing wins. Mens B stormed into a brilliant 7-0 lead courtesy of some awesome shows, a runnig ave of over 27 hit Cheshire really hard with wins from Graham Hall, Rob Hawker, James Hykin, Ant West with two stunning finishes of 150 and 160, Matt Edgar, Ian McFarlane 30.02 and MOM Simon Power 30.36. However they were the last victories we had on the Saturday as Cheshire hit back taking the last 5 Mens B games to leave an overnight score of 10-8 in the Bears favour. Sunday and again a steady 3 3 draw for the Ladies A wins coming from Sue Gulliver taking a 160 finish Donna Pinch and LOM Kerry Bambridge 19.52. Mens A was in and out all the way down with wins from MOM Mark Westgarth 30.42, Tommy Aldridge, Jamie Hughes, Dean Stewart, Ted Evetts and last on securing the win Noel Grant. Next up is a home fixture versus Lincolnshire.

Over this last weekend their were two anomalies with rule 15.02 with two Counties in Devon and Lincolnshire in breach of this rule and therefore lost another point on their tally.

Brilliant Cadby in Debut UK Win

Corey Cadby of Australia recently took his first steps on UK soil to compete on the PDC Youth Development tour, playing in his first ever UK event he entered the Warwickshire Mens Superleague Open of 2016 where he joined 54 other members from the teams availaible. A tough field as is always the case in these events eventually saw a final eight line up of Corey Cadby who defeated Graham Hall, Mark Westgarth defeating Simon Power, Mark Carter defeating Anthony West and Kevin Dowling defeating Steve Ward.  The semi finals saw Kevin beat Mark Carter and Corey beating Mark Westgarth. The Final went the full distance with Cadby edging it 4-3. Corey had hit 12 maximums on the night and also chipped in with a superb 170 out. This lad looks a star for the future and one we wish all the very best for him and his Management team of the Sportsmans Management Company the sponsors of the Warwickshire Darts Organisation.
