County take a draw in final fixture.

Warwickshire completed their final match of the season with an 18-18 draw with Glamorgan which was re-arranged after being affected by the severe weather earlier in the year. Ladies B again suffered a 5-1 loss with only Chloe McKivett taking her game. Got to say three of the Glamorgan girls played very well and our girls did not see sight of a double in some of the legs. Mens B won with a very good 9-3, Mark Strong winning another MOM with a 27.98 which included a last leg 12 darter and a 161 finish. Ladies A also came out well with a solid 4-2 win with Sue Gulliver completing a great season with a great win over Rhian O Sullivan the Welsh International player. Mens A lost out 8-4 with a few Glamorgan lads playing some quality darts, MOM was Charlie Symons 27.18.

This left the County to finish the season in fifth position but with some more consistency this could and possibly should have seen us in third. Still a good season and one that we will surely build upon when we return in mid september for the new season.

Nigel makes England team in Euro and Six Nations

Nigel Heydon has been rewarded for his performance in the recent British Internationals with a place in the Five Man Europe Cup team and a place in the Fourman Six Nations Cup next month. Nigel follows the latest players to achieve this feat over the years Jamie Hughes and the Ladies Trina Gulliver. Very well done Nigel.
