Warwickshire suffered a close defeat when entertaining their visitors Lincolnshire in a re-arranged fixture from the scheduled BICC Programme.
Ladies B were off to a flier winning the first three and looking like a greta result was on the cards but a determined back line from Lincolnshire saw them winning the next three, Donna Pinch LOM with a 19+ ave which included a brilliant 148 finish.
Mens B were hit for six as Lincs took the first half of the draw without reply, many missed doubles caused this bad start, however the Bears bounced back and won 4 of the next six with James Hykin hitting home with a 27.08 MOM average. Overall an overnight 7-11 scoreline.
Ladies A will rue all the missed chances that they were offered and think they could and maybe should have had at the very least a draw. Only winner being Natalie Gilbert 22.41.
Mens A were then tasked with looking for a huge win to either gain a slight win or maybe even a draw, but they fell short by the one with a 9-3 victory which was off the highest class that is seen regularly at the A games, many 28/ 29 aves but the MOM was Jamie Hughes with a 31.46 which included a dabble at a nine darter leg.
Bears next take on inform Lancashire in early january which once again is a re-scheduled fixture from the BICC programme. January 12-13th 2019.
