Jamie Hughes took another step towards the World Title after shaking off Madars Razma of Latvia in a game that failed in many areas to live up to its expectation. Razma had taken out Gary Robson in the previous round with some outstanding darts but could not produce the same consistency throughout this tie. Hughes lost the first set but took out vital doubles to complete his win and into the last eight where he will take on Wesley Harms of the Netherlands set for Friday.
