Noel Grant was victorious when winning the Midland Area Play Offs of the Winmau World Master. Matt Padgett of Nottinghamshire also won through with both players taking out some formidable opposition along the way. In the Ladies section Diane Nash of Cambridgeshire won through after a tough battle against County Team Mate Sandra Greatbatch. In the Youth Boys Section Ollie King of Norfolk won through from a small field with a win over Warwickshires Adam Paxton. The Youth Girls section was won by Laura Bowley of Warwickshire with a final defeat over Courtney Hine also of Warwickshire
