The Bears hosted league leaders Yorkshire and managed an overall draw on the weekend. The weekend started off badly with a 5-1 loss for the Ladies B with Caroline Pike taking the LOM 20.12
Mens B fought a tough draw with Yorkshire having the best B team throughout the Premier Division. Some great wins from Will Naylor, Lee Miller, Mark Martin, Adam Hancock, Jack Wareing and a MOM from Jnr Joyce 28.70
11 -7 down overnight is a tough ask on any weekend but Yorkshire the job is harder from the off. However the Bears hit back with a superb Ladies A 5-1 win with wins from Kirsty Hinchliffe, Wendy Adams, Hannah Meek, Marian Conway and a LOM from Natalie Gilbert 22.43.
Scores now level then the Mens A again had a tough 6-6 draw, winners being Nigel Heydon, Sam Price with a tidy 30+ which include two 12 dart legs to take his game, Jamie Hughes with a 30+ also, Martin Tonks, Noel Grant and Danny Lauby taking the MOM with a 30.83.
Overall a decent weekends work taking a draw, next up is a trip to Hertfordshire
