The Bears lost out by a one point margin in their latest fixture in the UKDA Premier Division when hosting high flyers Lancashire.
The Weekend started with a superb 5-1 win for the Ladies B with some great games, winning were Jodie Rigg, Nina Bolt, Donna Pinch, Natalie Gilbert and a LOM from Kacie O Connor 22.77.
Mens B had a tougher time and lost out gallantly with a 5-7 reverse, Dave Hill, Ryan Jackson, Lee Miller, Mark Strong and a MOM from Mark Carter 26.43.
10-8 In favour of the Bears overnight.
Sunday saw a nightmare start with the ladies A taking a 6-0 thrashing. Few chances in a couple of the games but no luck on our side.
Mens A again very buoyant and a 7-5 win which maybe had a chance of being greater with some more clinical finishing. Winners being Jack Wareing, Nigel Heydon, Jamie Hughes, Noel Grant, Danny Lauby, Steve Hine and again another superb show from Dom Taylor 32.09 which earned him the Man of the Weekend, Kacie also took the Lady of the Weend.
Next up for the Bears is a home fixture versus Dorset with our early November fixture rearranged for December 13-14th.
