The Bears suffered their second loss of the season when hosting current champions Lancashire.
Ladies B were beaten soundly 5-1 with only Chloe McKivett Saunders taking a win with an excellent 3-2 win and a 21.31 average.
Mens B threw the kitchen sink at their opponents to no avail as they were beaten 8-4 on the day. A brilliant 26.00 overall average from the men shows how strong the match was. The match started off with a brilliant game involving Sam Price, unfortunately he was on the wrong end of the tie despite throwing a 32.25 average, this seemed to be the order of the day as many games went the way of Lancashire. Winners being Scott Hope, Adam Hancock, Lee Miller and Will Naylor 26.45 this having cycled to the match which accounted for 23 miles.
Sunday facing a 13-5 deficit the Ladies A gave their all in attaining a 3-3 draw with wins from Donna Pinch, Hannah Meek and a LOM from Natalie Gilbert 26.62 coming back from 2-0 down to fellow travelling companion Jo Clements.
Mens A knew it would be a tough task but again everything went into this with wins from Jamie Atkins, Gareth Braham, Wayne Mynard, Prakash Jiwa who hit 3 x 100+ finishes with the whole match containing 15 ton plusses on finishes. Noel Grant taking the MOM with a superb 31.31.
Overall result 23-13 which leads the bears onto their next match away in Lincolnshire.
