The Bears suffered their 2nd consecutive loss when taking on Hampshire in Southampton. A great start to the weekend with the Ladies B completing a 4-2 win after going 2-0 down. Wins from Angela Jones, Nina Bolt, Chloe McKivett and another LOM from Hannah Meek. Mens B also followed suit with a good 7-5 win with wins from Mark Carter, Mark Strong, Sam Price, Will Naylor, Martin Tonks, Karl Reynolds and a MOM from Pete Hughes. 11-7 scoreline in our favour overnight. This was soon reduced and overtaken by our hosts as they completed a 6-0 whitewash over the Bears, chances were there but not taken as Hampshire showed top of the table form. Mens A were depleted from last fixture with other commitments happening which caused a major rethink on the selection side. It took affect in a big way with an 8-4 scoreline in Hampshires favour. Wins were from Nigel Heydon, Carl Green, Matty Washbrooke and a MOM from Jamie Atkins 30.19. Overall a 21-15 loss. We go again next match at home to Staffordshire.
