The Warwickshire Superleague KO Cup took place last night with 10 teams taking part ( Rugby were absent due to family Funeral).
The event was a great night as always with the format. Some excellent games throughout, some teams were short of players for various reasons but still managed to play their part.
Eventual winners were Coventry Parkstone who complete the double of league and cup wins a feat they have achieved on a few occasions.
A 10 dart leg was achieved by Ian McFarlane of Coventry Parkstone on the night when maximum scores were aplenty from all teams.
The tension around the room was felt by all as the Final went down to the wire with score standing at 3-3 in complete games and 2-2 in the game still to end with Mick Smith of Tamworth and Mark Strong of Parkstone both realising it was most probably down to them to determine a full result. It went the way of Strong as both players missed many doubles.
