The County were very saddened to hear today of the passing of Dennis Stokes. Dennis was a former official of the County over a number of years. One of the first MCs for the County, also doing stints for other Counties within the region. Dennis over the last 15 years had also concentrated on promoting the game with local and regional Open Darts Events which were greatly appreciated by the many players that supported them. Our deepest sympathies to all the family, Gill, Bev and Chris at this sad time. RIP Dennis.
STOKESEY FUNERAL DETAILS
The funeral of our much loved and solely missed Stokesey will take place on
Tuesday 2nd August 1 pm at
Yardley Crem Yardley Road B25 8NA. Followed by refreshment and a buffet at The Crown at Olton 2 Masons Close B92 7JE.
No Flowers at Den’s request but donations in lieu of flowers for The Air Ambulance.
