Jamie Hughes bowed out at the Semi Final stage once again at Lakeside when losing out 11-9 to Darryl Fitton. Fitton had been in some great form along with Jamie but had survived a few scares in the previous round with Lithuanias Darius Labanuskas. Each leg seemed to be going with the darts after an opening lead of 3-1 to Fitton. Hughes had during the game hit many 180s.
