This years AGM took place on 3rd July where all teams were set to discuss the season previous and look at the Leagues rules.
12 Teams are set to take place in the Mens league whilst the Ladies we have 4 teams making up their season. We have lost Coventry Albany from the league but gained a new team from Tamworth Glascote ( New team and players), also Studley Cons and Unionist Club (New team with former players). Three teams move to new venues for the new season with Tamworth moving back to the Dolphin Inn where they originally started out. Coventry Hen lane become Coventry New Spires after moving to the Coundon Venue, this is also the same move taking place with Coventry Ladies where they also move from the Hen Lane Club.
Several rule changes were discussed and these will be subject to alteration over the next few weeks and printed in time for the main County AGM in August.
The Officials were all voted back in and detail as follows.
Chairman Superleague – Bernie Strong, Treasurer – Linda Howe, Mens Secretary – Neil Pritchard, Ladies Secretary – Sue Maclennan. Competition Secretary – Sarah West.
We had two resignations from the County Official list but this will be confirmed at the AGM in August. One of the resignations was of a selector so a new Selector was voted in at this AGM. Martin Partridge of the Water Orton team was unanimously accepted to take the place of the resigning Pete Allen.
All other business will be finalised at the WDO AGM 7th August Hen Lane Club 11am.
