The Bears continued where they left off in the latest UKDA Premiership fixture when defeating Essex with an overall 25-11 scoreline.
A great start to the weekend saw the Ladies B take a 6-0 victory which was hard fought with three of the games going the full distance. Chloe McKivett taking the Lady of the match with a 20.61 average.
The joy continued with the Mens B with a superb 9-3 win. great wins from Matty Washbrooke, Steve Giddings, Martin Tonks, Dave Honey, Darren Swords who returned on a very late call up, Jack Wareing, Carl Green, Dave Hill and a last on Man Of the Match Jamie Hughes 27.08 who again was a late call up due to the County being ravaged by Illness and Injuries.
With the Score of 15-3 overnight the Ladies A got off to a great start with four straight wins, Sue Gulliver, Natalie Gilbert, Donna Pinch and a Lady of the Match Tammy Montgomery 22.43.
Match was now won overall with Mens A still to roll where a hard grafted 6-6 draw was the final section result with wins from Tom Martin, Jamie Atkins, Noel Grant who produced the superb outshot of the weekend with a 125, Bull, 25 Bull finish, Prakash Jiwa, Steve Hine and again a brilliant Man of the Match Jamie Hughes with a 31.86.
So a great 25-11 overall result which sees the Bears taking up second in the Premiership table with another home fixture to come in early November against Cheshire.
