Warwickshire produced another impressive result when claiming victory over an excellent London side. Two separate losses over the weekend with both the Ladies B and the Mens A on the wrong end of the result.
Ladies B as stated faced a very experienced London side and soon found themselves 4-0 down but two solid wins from Melanie Jones and a LOM from Marian Conway 18.02. Mens B were looking for a good win to give the Bears the overall lead. They got this with a great 8-4 win courtesy of Wayne Mynard, Carl Green, Will Naylor, Dave Hill, Mark Tomlinson, Tom Martin, Karl Reynolds and a MOM for Matty Washbrooke 26.72.
Ladies A again were facing a tough side but a great start saw them take the first five with wins from Sue Gulliver, Donna Pinch, Chloe McKivett, Natalie Gilbert and a superb LOM from Tammy Montgomery 24.24. Mens A had four wins to find to give the Bears an overall victory, they got this with wins from Steve Hine, Jack Wareing, Kevin Dowling, Jamie Atkins and a MOM from Jamie Hughes with a 31.31.
