Warwickshire completed their fifth win of this seasons campaign. Much of the work was done on the Saturday with Both B sides taking great wins.
Ladies B took a super 4-2 win where wins came from Marian Conway, Chloe McKivett, Nina Bolt and once again a Lady of the match from Hannah Meek 19.52.
Mens B were in great sprit and completed a super 9-3 victory, winners being Mark Carter, Jenson Walker, Dave Hill, Pete Hughes, Will Naylor, Sam Price, Mark Martin, Karl Reynolds and a MOM from Martin Tonks 26.43. Overall a 13-5 lead.
Ladies A were up against a very experienced side and battled for a 3-3 draw. Wins from Sue Gulliver, Caroline Pike and a LOM from Tammy Montgomery.
Mens A were looking confident but were pegged back by a very powerful Staffs A team with the Bears only taking 4 wins, Tom Martin, Kevin Dowling who played in a very uncomfortable place as he had a very irritating Eye Infection, hence we see him win 4-1 with three ton plus finishes. Carl Green and a MOM from Jamie Atkins 31.28 in a superb game that went the full distance.
Bears now have one fixture remaining with an away trip to Lincolnshire in early June.
