Warwickshire completed their final fixture of the season with a super 23-13 win over the already relegated Staffordshire. Highlight of the weekend was a superb 9-3 MENS A win with the result giving them the Title of their section. Been very close on a few occasions but this years effort took them over the line.
Weekend kicked off with a dissapointing Ladies B loss of 4-2. Wins from Nina Bolt and Angela Jones 17.75 LOM.
Mens B took a great 8-4 win with some top shows along the way, MOM being Mark Martin with a superb 29.27. Other wins from Sam Price, Martin Tonks, Dave Hill, Leigh Dells, Mark Faulkner, Scott Hope and Karl Reynolds.
Ladies A produced a great win for the Bears 4-2 with wins from Wendy Adams, Kris Meek, Marian Conway and a LOM and Lady of the weekend Kirtsy Hichcliffe 21.78.
So Mens A were also waiting on others to see what was going on with Lancashire and Yorkshire both close in the section. Great wins came from Matty Washbrooke, Danny Lauby, Jamie Hughes, Noel Grant, Steve Hine, Kevin Dowling, Nigel Heydon, Wayne Mynard and a MOM from Jamie Atkins 30.83 which completes his 2nd season consecutively finishing top of the Premier Averages.
