Warwickshire completed their behind the scenes AGM meetings within the last month where final preparations were completed ready for both Superleagues and their UKDA Premier Division seasons.
We were disappointed to lose six players (two of which were extremely valued officials) either at the end of the season or during the closed season. They will all be missed and we hope to see them return sometime in the not too distant future.
On the Officials side of things the Chairman Neil Pritchard was again elected for a further two seasons, Sarah West was named as Interim General Secretary. Caroline Pike was elected as The Ladies Team Manager, Donna Pinch was elected as Ladies Selector. Emma Tyler and Martin Tonks also volunteered themselves to join the committee and were duly co-opted for the season.
We had a major sponsorship deal confirmed with local company Armstrong Manufacturing which will most certainly keep the County coffers at a decent level.
The Playing front we see two new players In Sam Whittaker and Kirsty Hinchcliffe and we also see the return of Kristeen Meek and Mark McGeeney.
Teams have been announced for our first match as we embark on the huge journey to Cornwall. We wish all the very best for the new season both on the committee front and playing.
