Warwickshire were saddened today on hearing of the passing away of Audrey Allen a current Vice President of the County, also a former Ladies Manager and Ladies Superleague Secretary.
Audrey was a great addition to the Officials list when joining up in 2002 as the Ladies Superleague Secretary, some two years later she also became Ladies Team Manager combining both jobs.
Audrey and Phil her husband were instrumental in obtaining much needed sponsorship with the superb deal we had with Local Ford Car Dealership Allen Ford. This deal put the County in sound financial footing and saw us grow along within.
Our thoughts go out to all of Audrey’s Family at this very sad time.
