Jamie Hughes was on the end of a 6-1 defeat against close friend and rival Glen Durrant, a match that was always going to be a battle of wills went Duzzas way with all the first four sets going in his favour. Jamie hit back with the fifth and threatened to take the 6th but finishing did not come to his rescue. From then on it was foot down all the way from the BDO World No 1 with him hitting brilliant finishes including a maximum 170. Jamie paid tribute in his post match interview saying that Durrant still has another two gears to move up.
